Hey, hey everybody!!! Happy October!
So, it's 7 weeks past the burn, and we still have a few precious Mobile Groove Bomb fund raising calendars left!
Who can resist the beautiful ladies and the greatest commemoration of the always awesome Groove Bomb? I know there are still many Groove Bomb fans out there who haven't gotten their calendar yet, so lets *RALLY* this calendar effort and help everyone enjoy the Groove Bomb's memories with us!
For a mere $20, you TOO can own this highly coveted, limited edition Groove Bomb paraphernalia. If you really want to help, you can pick up several calendars to sell to your friends!!!
The calendar is an August 08 - August 09, so you still have most of the year to enjoy it!! Each month celebrates where the bus has been, where it's going, and how it came to be.
So if you want a calendar, you can call me (503-816-3639) or email me (lillialexis at gmail dot com) or meet me at The Crown Room's Bomb Squad Woosday. If you call now, I'll even though in a long sensual hug, ABSOLUTELY FREE (offer valid to the first 100 callers only)!!! I am around most of the weekend, and I will be at The Crown Room through happy house if the weekend doesn't work.

August – Hitchhiking on the bus
September – Sexy teacher teaching us lessons about the bus (with the baby bus on her desk)
October – Look out! Vampire coming out of the bus
November – Lingerie lady serving Green Bean Bus Casserole
December – Reindeer pulling the bus full of drunk Santacon Santas
January – White snow and hot cocoa (and bus)
February – The boys of the bus, in red dresses (i.e., red dress party)
March – Majorette with March Fourth’s drums and their former tour bus
April – Jumping out of a cake for the bus’s birthday
May – Washing the bus
June – Fixing the bus
July – Turning the bus into the Groove Bomb
August – Burning man on the bus!
P.P.S. Here is a synopsis of the calendar's sales so far:
+ We sold *81* dates, or almost *$500* worth! (Thanks Marklar)
+ We sold about *250* calendars so far, or almost *$5000* worth!!!!
+ We had many of you selling calendars for us. Thanks to all who helped with that effort. Those sales accounted for about *100* calendars being sold, so about *$2000* worth!!
+ We have about 40 calendars left. That isn't many, but we *need to sell them*. 40 calendars equals *$800*!!
Anyway, so far we have almost *$1000* in profits for The Groove Bomb and we have the potential to raise over $1000 more!!
P.P.P.S. Thank you Bomb Squad for taking me in and introducing me to such a wonderful community. I can't express how grateful I am to have met all of you and been given such great opportunities to express myself through art. I loved building the bus, making the calendar, acquiring so many new skills, growing within myself, and seeing it all come together at my first burn. Thanks for making my burn SO, SO, SO wonderful. It was great to camp with the awesomest venue on the playa (yay, for not playing horribly repetitive craptastic house techno!!)!!
